I have been dreaming of beaches lately so I decided to make up a swimsuit I would buy if it existed. I also added a hat and bag from Urban that I would buy if I had money. I also dream of having money.

What: I had an group interview at Anthropologie today at the mall and for the final “question” they had us each make an ideal outfit from the store’s merchandise. This probably isn’t the most exciting possible combination of clothing, but definitely something I would wear, and feel comfortable in. It’s mega cute too! Too bad I have no money to afford such things.

What: Shorts I’ve owned for a while, but I’ve never worn because I feel like a camp councilor in them. (They’re really not that bad though, I like them). V-Neck and sweater, but who am I kidding? It’s too hot, I’m not wearing that sweater.

Daily Outfit: April 21, 2010 (a day early)

What: I have a meeting in New York City tomorrow so I wanted to dress nicely, but still comfortably. I’m still not sure what to expect for weather, because it seems like it’s going to be warm, but cloudy with some rain. But it’s NYC so I’ll also be walking around outside all day before the meeting. We’ll see.

Where: New York for the day with Chris, and a portfolio review with Dwell Studio.

What I Wish I Wore: April 19, 2010

What: I can’t really pull off skirts, or haven’t found the right outfit yet, so anytime it I draw a skirt, it’s probably “what I wish I wore”. That being said, it was a beautiful day today, but because I have to spend it locked up in a freezing lecture room for a majority of it, I kind of bundled up.

Where: Arts of Native America class, and the print lab, preparing my portfolio for my upcoming portfolio reviews and meetings.

Also: Stay tuned for a video showing a little bit of the process that went into this outfit.

What: The weather outside was nice on Friday so I wore shorts and a t-shirt, but I had to throw on a sweater when it started POURING. Call me weird but I like the long sleeves and shorts combo.

Where: Bel Air for the day; hanging at Rocks State Park and going to see KICK-ASS later, then hanging at a pizza place all night afterwards. A good friday.

Just a quick top three list to share some fashion blogs I really like, and follow. Sort of the inspiration behind this illustrated version. Also a shout out to Gemma Correll who’s been doing this all along.

Also if anyone’s reading this, and has some feedback on what else they’d like to see. I know that outfit after outfit may get a bit dull after a while. I’d like to keep this a fashion blog, as much as it is about the illustrations as well. If you have any thoughts I’d love to hear them!?
